Dear Dad,

Dear Dad,

Thanks for making me work out this morning. This week is long and chaotic with staying in a hotel on business for 6 nights, but squeezing in a quick few miles on the treadmill was a game changer today.

You may not know it, but so many times, you’re in my head reminding me that simply being in the habit of working out is one of the best things you can do for yourself. There are COUNTLESS times when I just don’t feel like lacing up my shoes or putting the bar method DVD into the computer (such effort!)- thankfully good habits are hard to break. So 20 minutes, I tell myself, just kick some butt for 20 minutes.IMG_3740

Thanks for making me a much more pleasant person today, and a little less regretful for overindulging in chocolate deliciousness last night.

XO

KellyBelly

PS – nearly 30 years later, I’m wondering about the origins of this nickname…
